Dream Come True of Western Connecticut was founded in 1984 – our mission: is to grant dreams to seriously, chronically, and terminally ill children living in Fairfield, Litchfield, and New Haven counties. Dream Come True has made over 400 dreams come true in Western Connecticut for children diagnosed with a range of chronic and terminal illnesses including childhood cancers, genetic illnesses, complications from birth trauma, and more.  Dream Come True provides dreams for children ages 4 to 18.  Dreams range from travel dreams, room makeovers, sporting events, shopping sprees – whatever the child fantasizes as their “Dream Come True”.  As a non-profit, 100% volunteer-based organization, our goal of fulfilling dreams for these special children is dependent on our volunteers, individual donations, business sponsorships, corporate giving, grants, planned giving, memorial tributes, and various fundraising events. Dream Come True is not part of a larger organization, nor a member of United Way.
