Event Details

Greeting from Klingberg Motorcar Series,

I am writing to remind everyone that Klingberg is NOT having a Motorcar event this week. Please disregard any announcements of a Klingberg event happening this Saturday. As we announced in February, because of major changes in our Development Office, the June auto event has been suspended for 2023.

Unfortunately, several online auto show calendar listings have posted a Klingberg event for Saturday but they did not get the info from us. Many of them copy event listings from other calendars or repeat them from their previous years without checking the source.

Many of you, like me, may be feeling the loss of the Klingberg Motorcar Series and the Pre-war Concours d’Elegance that would have taken place this week. I can assure you, Steve Girelli and Kara Preston are working on plans for a possible Klingberg Motorcar Event in 2024. I will continue to be involved as an advisor and liaison between the event planners and all the antique car owners, to gather the kind of automobiles that we all appreciated during the 3 decades of shows at Klingberg.

Thank you for your part in making the past 30 years of Klingberg Events successful and ultimately supporting all the programs for kids at Klingberg.

Mark Johnson, M.A.
Vice President Emeritus
